Baisakhi Utsav was organized in The Little Apex School Begum Bagh on Saturday, 13 April 2024 in the school premises.
Principal Sangeeta Notani informed the children about Baisakhi festival and told them that it is a folk cultural festival which is especially celebrated by the people of Sikh religion in the joy of harvest in Punjab province. Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Guru of Sikhs, had said that the highest form of worship is to love humanity, protect the weak and take proper care of them. All the little children in the school came in Punjabi costumes and presented Punjabi dance and Bhangra. Children were also given information about Baisakhi festival through drawing and craft.
School Chairman Dr. Brij Bhushan and Director Sanjay Goyal congratulated all the children and teachers on Baisakhi and encouraged them.
All the teachers Rashmi, Richa, Parul, Sanchi, Manvi, Surbhi, Mansi, Nancy, Tanu, Ilma, Mahima, Shivangi, Rupali and Muskaan had special support in making the program successful.
